MILTON- Anna Margaret Sallee, 78, passed away peacefully at her home south of Milton on Saturday evening February 21, 2015. A daughter of the late James H. and Florence I. (Purcell) Scott, Anna Margaret was born in Fayette County, Indiana on May 4, 1936 and graduated from Harrisburg High School with the class of 1954. A homemaker, Anna Margaret was a devoted mother and grandmother. She had worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for 11 years at Lincoln Centers Nursing Home in Connersville. Survivors include 4 children, Annette (Richard) Taylor of Florida, Angela J. Sallee of Houston, TX, Alisa A. (Joe) Corman of Centerville and Andrew Sallee of Florida; 4 grandchildren, Amanda and Emma Corman, Sarah and Corey Cox; 1 sister, JoAnn Cooley of Cambridge City; 3 sister in-laws, Marilyn (Lowell) Eggleston, Phyllis (Terrell) Medd and Bonnie Revalee; several nieces and nephews. Anna Margaret was preceded in death by her husband of 24 years, Robert L. Sallee on September 5, 1982. They were married in Connersville on October 12, 1957; her daughter, Amy Sallee in 2007; 2 brothers, Jimmy and wife Mary Lou Scott and Paul Scott; 2 sisters, Geraldine and husband Henry Vail and Colleen Younts; mother in-law, Lenora Bennington. Private memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family following cremation.
