RICHMOND- Alice Hartman, 73, passed away at her home Thursday evening August 12, 2021.  A daughter of the late Paul Ion and Mary (Kelsay) Hartman, Alice was born in Richmond, Indiana on July 6, 1948.  She graduated from Hagerstown High School and received a Bachelor's Degree from Wilmington College and her Master's Degree from Ohio University.  An educator, Alice had taught Spanish at Lincoln High School in Cambridge City and Seton High School in Richmond.

Alice is survived by her son, Samuel J. Hartman; 3 siblings, John Hartman, Rachel Lapoint and Beth Treaster.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Dayle on July 26, 2010.
