IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Agnes
Fisher
November 17, 1943 – November 20, 2025
MILTON- Agnes R (Barker) Fisher, 82, passed away Thursday evening November 20, 2025 in New Castle, Indiana. She was born November 17th , 1943, in Richmond, Indiana. Raised by her aunt, Deloris Craig, who helped her raise her daughters until her death on September 11, 1982. Throughout the years, Agnes held many different occupations. She was most known for being an Avon lady and eventually an Avon manager. For a short period, she drove an 18-wheeler across the country but found that was not the lifestyle for her. Her final position prior to retirement was as a corporate waitress trainer for the Flying J Corporation, where she traveled throughout the country and Canada training restaurant servers. Her time was spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, attending their sporting events, plays, and award banquets. Her favorite hobby was genealogy, which she spent countless hours creating special memory books for family members. As a long-term resident of Milton, Indiana, she became active on the Milton Town Board. She enjoyed ruffling feathers and questioning the system. Agnes found great joy in her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by Deloris Craig (1982), her ex-husband and friend, Melvin Fisher (2004), and her beloved oldest daughter, Lisa Fisher (2015). Her love will continue through her daughter, Linda Fisher Robinson (Michael); grandchildren, Natasha Eldridge Hamilton (Zach), Chelsea Eldridge (Allan Irvin), Melanie Robinson Edwards (Joseph), J. Mitchel Robinson, and Meredith Robinson; great grandchildren, Jacob, Trenton, Nora, Jessica, Josiah, Joseph, Benjamin, and Elizabeth; lifelong best friends, Jessie Johnson of Fountain City, Indiana, and Marilyn Fisher of Milton, Indiana; special nieces, Kellie Fisher Laird, Kara Laird Andrew, and Krysta Laird.
