Anderson- Adrienne (Reddington) Moffitt, 90, passed away on Wednesday morning September 23, 2009 at her home in Anderson. A daughter of the late Willis and Cora Mae Cooper Reddington, Adrienne was born in Lewisville, Indiana on September 20, 1919. She moved from California to Anderson in 1984. Adrienne graduated from the Lewisville High School in 1938 and attended Woodberry College in Los Angeles. Adrienne retired from the City of Santa Barbara after 30 years of service, where she worked in the escro office. She was a member of the Tri Cappa Sorority and the United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Philip C. Moffit on Feb. 22, 2000. They were married in Knightstown, Indiana on January 28, 1948 and their son, Kris Moffitt on March 2, 1996. Surivivors include her sister, Helen Collins of Anderson; brother, Rayburn Reddington of Spiceland; nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday September 26, 2009 at the Lewisville Cemetery in Lewisville. Rev. Marion L. Hickman will officiate. The Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Lewisville has been entrusted with the arrangements.
