Arthur Busler Obituary

Arthur W. Busler, 85, of Pemberville, Ohio died Sunday, June 3, 2018 at Bay Park Hospital. He was born in Wood County on October 22, 1932 to Francis and Elizabeth (Hitzka) Busler. Arthur honorably served as a United States Marine in the Korean War. He was a proud veteran and a member of the VFW. He married Diane Sue Lunsford and spent many happy years together until her passing on January 15, 2009.

Arthur was a Chemist for Cuyahoga Plastics. In his spare time he enjoyed golfing, boating, fishing, woodworking and watching sports. He was a member of Sugar Ridge Community Church in Bowling Green and later attended the church services at Otterbein.

Arthur is survived by his daughters, Gail (Jim) Hugg and Laurie (Kevin) Falls; grandchildren, Zane Smith, Angela Hendrickson, Elizabeth Kocher; Justin Falls, John Busler, Jr., Ben Busler and Jacob Busler; step-grandchildren, Tyler Hahn and Kaylyn Hahn; five great-grandchildren; and siblings, Richard Busler, Jacqueline Rood, Mary Cheney, Terry August and Kenny Busler. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Diane Sue Busler; son, John Busler and siblings, Virginia Graves, Carl Busler and Marlene Norman.

Following services in Perrysburg, Ohio, private graveside services with military honors provided by contingents of the United States Marine Corps and Lawrence H. Bertsch American Legion Post 169 will take place at Valley Grove Cemetery south of Milton. Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home has been entrusted with the local arrangements.
