Welcome Image

Welcome to the Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home website.

We are an independent, family owned and operated funeral home. Our main office is located in Dublin, Indiana with branches in Lewisville and Shirley. This gives us the opportunity to provide small town care to friends of neighboring communities like Cambridge City, Milton,Pershing and the entire Western Wayne community, Spiceland, Raleigh and others in Henry, Fayette and Rush counties.By being a member of the community for so many years, our family knows your family. With this this relationship and the fact that each family has its own ideas about the type of services they may select to memorialize their loved one,you can be assured that we will be open minded and flexible to provide honest, sincere and compassionate guidance. This will help you make the proper decisions to provide a unique, dignified service that will honor and respect the life of the loved one being remembered.

We are a full service funeral home, able to provide at need arrangements, after care, an on site crematory, a full line of granite and bronze memorials as well as assistance with life insurance forms, and social security notification. During Pre-Need counseling and arrangements, which may involve establishing a Pre-Paid Funeral Trust, you will only visit with a Funeral Director licensed by the State of Indiana to help you through these decisions. Some funeral homes have an "Insurance Agent or Pre-Need Counselor" meet with you. They may get paid on a commission basis and may not have your best interest in mind.

Our promise to you is that we may not be able to ease your pain, but we will ease your burden. We cannot eliminate the numerous and difficult choices to be made, but we will provide impartial and discrete advice with the highest ethical and professional standards. We cannot decrease your sorrow and grief, only time, faith and hope can do this, but we can provide a completely dignified funeral within your financial limitations, while expressing our concern and compassion for you. We cannot alter the past, but we can honor the memory of your loved one.

Please use this site as a tool to answer your questions or it may cause you to think of other questions, if so, don't hesitate to give us a call so that we can personally assist you.
